Shifting Grounds: Institutional Transformation, Enhancing Knowledge and Capacity to Manage Groundwater Security in Peri-urban Gangetic Delta Systems

This project is executed by an international consortium of research organizations and civil society partners, including Delft University of Technology(TU Delft) and Both Ends from the Netherlands, SaciWATERs and The Researcher from India, and IWFM and Jagrata Juba Sangha (JJS) from Bangladesh. The project aims to build knowledge and capacity among local actors to support a transformation process in peri-urban delta communities in Bangladesh and India for a pro-poor, sustainable and equitable management of groundwater resources. The project is financed under the auspices of the research program ‘Urbanising Deltas of the World (UDW)’ of the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO).
