The Environmental & Water Resources Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE-EWRI) in partnership with the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET-IWFM) are pleased to convene the 11th IPWE Conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh. IPWE 2023 is going hybrid with goals of understanding community needs, focusing on attendee safety, and being more sustainable. This conference creates a platform for professionals to share knowledge, network, and gain perspective of water resource issues unique to the conference destination. The center piece of the conference is a hybrid summit/round table conferences to be held both in Dhaka, Bangladesh and Reston, Virginia and will be broadcast online. The topics for the 1st summit in Dhaka are the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 (BDP 2100), restoration of major rivers and impacts of climate change. The topics at the Reston Summit are the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP), flood mitigation of lower Mississippi River, and western mega-drought and impacts of the climate change.
Date: The conference will be held during 4-6 January 2023 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Abstracts should be:
In English
Approximately 250 words but no longer than 500 words in length
Your own scientific, technical or project work but not literature review
No more than 2 submissions per person (as the presenter)
An international letter of invitation will not be sent until you have registered and paid for the conference (if applicable).
Abstracts should NOT be:
Autobiographical
Previously published (except if for oral presentation only)
Commercial or promotional
ASCE/EWRI membership is encouraged, but not required for submission. Submitters whose abstracts are accepted for presentation, whether oral or poster, are expected to register for and attend the IPWE 2023 Conference
By submitting an abstract to the 2023 IPWE conference, you acknowledge and understand that:
It is mandatory that you register and pay for the conference by September 01 – October 15, 2022. Should an author submit their final paper but fail to register by the deadline, the unregistered presentation/paper will be removed from the conference program
If you require travel, you acknowledge that you understand that:
ASCE will not pay for your travel or other expenses
You have applied for your international travel paperwork in advance to obtain international travel permissions (if applicable).
