Grant reception on “Disruptive Technology for Climate Resilient Infrastructure” from the project entitled ‘Enhancing Coastal Resilience Through Nature-Based Solutions’

The three youth led enterprises have received grant on “Disruptive Technology for Climate Resilient Infrastructure” from the project entitled ‘Enhancing Coastal Resilience Through Nature-Based Solutions’ carried out by the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM) of BUET and funded by the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA). This type of innovative projects are highly relevant for coastal cities as the upcoming IPCC’s Special Report on Cities will focus on innovative solutions for sustainable and resilient cities.
Title of the youth led projects that received grant are-
 1. Digital Innovation for Impact (DII) -“SHORELINE : Seasonal Hazard Observation and Resilience Enhancement for Local Infrastructure”
 2. MS Tuhin Associates- “Nature Based Multi-Dimensional Sustainable Development Project for Kuakata Sea Beach Through Beach Nourishment, Erosion Reduction & Enhancement of Mangrove Forest”.
 3. EasySense – “Supeyo: Enhancing Coastal Resilience through Clean Water Solutions”.
Prof. Mohammad Asad Hussain, Director, IWFM, Prof. Muhammad Anisuzzaman Talukder, Director, RISE and Prof. A.K.M. Saiful Islam, Principal Investigator were speaking in that event.
