CoCooN: Climate Policy, Conflicts and Cooperation in Peri-Urban South Asia: Towards Resilient and Water Secure Communities

In collaboration with Wageningen University, Netherlands; South Asia Consortium for Interdisciplinary Water Resources Studies (SaciWATERs), India; International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD); MetaMeta, Netherlands and Jagrata Juba Shangha (JJS), Bangladesh, this 4-year long research project aimed to contribute to the improvement of the peri-urban water security by enhancing community resilience to urbanization and climate change through increased cooperation and reduction of conflicts, producing opportunities for improved livelihoods for the poor and providing climate change strategies, policies and actions at various levels. This project was funded by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) and DFID.
